Administrative Core

The role of the Administrative Core, led by INBRE's Principal Investigator, is to provide the overall administrative support to recipients of grant awards. Responsibilities include:

  • Fiscal and personnel management
  • Coordinating activities among partner members Providing logistical support to the statewide network, including maintenance of the network website
  • Scheduling regular meetings and seminars for the INBRE network and the general public
  • Arranging all External Advisory and Internal Steering Committee meetings and implementing their recommendations
  • Overseeing implementation of training and mentoring plans developed by the Research and Outreach Cores
  • Cultivating partnerships and relationships critical to building an infrastructure upon which a thriving biomedical research network can be built in Hawaii
  • Increasing funding for biomedical research from NIH and other funding sources.
